13 Oceania representatives to serve on UCI Commissions for 2025-2029 term
The Oceania region will again be well represented on UCI Commissions with 13 individuals appointed for a four-year term between 2025-2029.
The 13 members from four Oceania Member Nations will contribute to 14 Commissions and Committees.
Oceania Cycling Confederation (OCC) President and UCI Management Committee Member Tony Mitchell (New Zealand) will continue to serve as President of the Cycling for All and Sustainable Cycling Commission and the Equipment and New Technologies Commission, and as a member of Audit and Finance Committee.
Fellow UCI Management Committee Member Anne Gripper (Australia) will serve as President of the Integrity Commission and President of the Para-cycling Commission after previously serving four years as a Member.
All six members of the OCC Executive will contribute to UCI Commissions with Teva Bernadino (Tahiti) and Eric Tydingo (Guam) on the Solidarity Commission, former professional cyclist Tracey Gaudry (Australia) on the Road Commission and former Oceania Champion Samara Sheppard on the Member Mountain Bike Commission.
Oceania sporting expertise is in strong demand with Olympian and World Champion Ally Wollaston a member of the Athletes’ Commission and will also serve as a Rider Representative on the Track Commission.
Haimona Ngata will continue to bring his expertise to the BMX Freestyle Commission as will Wade Boots (Australia) on the BMX Racing Commission and Ryan Hollows (New Zealand) joins the Track Commission.
With Adam Hansen (Australia) serving as the CPA Representative on the Professional Cycling Council and Equipment and New Technologies Commission.
Expertise extends beyond sporting elements with experienced commissaire John McDonnell (New Zealand) serving another term as a member of the Commissaires’ Commission. Maria Clarke (New Zealand) joins the Integrity Commission alongside Anne Gripper.
