2018 #OceaniaTrack Guide
150 of Oceania’s best cyclists will battle it out for 40 titles in elite and under 19 events across four action packed days of competition at the 2018 Oceania Track Championships in Cambridge, New Zealand, November 20-23.
With world champions, Olympic medallists, Commonwealth and National Champions lining up crowds will be treated to some of the world’s best cyclists. With World Championship and Commonwealth Games selection on the line the racing is as important as ever.

Day 1 | Monday November 20 – Session 1: 9:00AM | Session 2: 4:00PM
Competition will roar from the start gate on the opening day of competition with 12 Oceania titles awarded as the team events take focus. Elite and under 19 men’s and women’s team sprints and elite men’s and women’s and under 19 women’s team pursuit will be decided.
While the women’s time trials, elite points race and under 19 men’s omnium will also feature.

Day 2 | Tuesday November 21 – Session 3: 9:00AM | Session 4: 4:00PM
Day two will see Oceania Champions crowned in another 12 events. Pursuiting will again be in focus with the individual pursuit for elite and under 19 women and elite men.
Elite and under 19 men and women will also tackle the scratch race and the under 19 women’s points race adding some bunch racing to the day. Competition concludes with the under 19 men’s team pursuit.
In sprint events elite and under 19 women will race the keirin, while the men will ride the time trial in both elite and under 19.

Day 3 | Wednesday November 22 – Session 5: 9:00AM | Session 6: 4:00PM
Omnium and sprints will excite the crowds on the penultimate day of competition as seven champions will be decided. Oceania’s fastest will light up the board in the elite men’s and women’s and under 19 women’s sprint competition.
Endurance stars will have a chance to shine in the four-event omnium with the elite men’s and elite and under 19 women’s. While the under 19 men will tackle the individual pursuit.

Day 4 | Thursday November 23 – Session 7: 9:00AM | Session 8: 3:00PM
Nine events will be decided on the final day of racing with the Madison in focus with events for both men and women in elite and under 19 with the under 19 races held for the first time.
The fastest riders in Oceania will be in action in the men’s keirin and women’s sprint. With under 19 men’s points race and under 19 women’s scratch race completing the programme.
