Brandon Loupos and Alirah Norris win 2026 Oceania BMX Freestyle Championships
Australia’s Brandon Loupos and Alirah Norris claimed gold at the 2026 Oceania BMX Freestyle Championships in Brisbane, Sunday 22 March.
Loupos claimed his second title having also pulled on the Oceania Champions jersey in 2024. In the hotly contested elite men’s competition he finished with a score of 94.33 to take the gold ahead of Xavier Gilbee (Australia) on 92 who improved from bronze a year ago, with Sam Grace (Australia) rounding out the podium with 91.67.
In the elite women’s competition Norris who finished second in the amateur challenger category a year ago claimed her first Oceania title with 91.33 points, over three-time champion Sarah Nicki (Australia) on 88.67. Kayla McCormick (Australia) completed the podium with 77 points.
