Jackson Connelly and Sacha Mills win downhill round three of 2026 Oceania Mountain Bike Continental Series

Jackson Connelly (Australia) and Sacha Mills (Australia) claimed elite wins at round three of 2026 Oceania Mountain Bike Continental Series at Falls Creek, Australia.

Oliver Kinghorn (Australia) and Tilly Boadle (New Zealand) took out the junior races.

The series concludes with the Continental Series Finale, 16-19 April in Cairns, Australia.

Elite Men

Connelly improved on a ninth-place finish in round two to take the win with a run of 3mins 5.47secs, edging Zachariah Bradley-Hudson (Australia) by just under three seconds. Hudson Tarling (Australia) rounded out the podium.

Consistency has been key for Bradley-Hudson, who moved into the series lead on 165 points courtesy of three top six finishes. He is 51 points clear of Connelly with one round remaining.

Elite Women

After a second and eighth place in the opening two rounds, Mills was too quick in round three taking the win in 4mins 2.31secs, four seconds clear of Zali Miklas (Australia) in second with Bella Schofield (Australia) completing the podium.

Mills now leads the standings on 187 points, 57 clear of Kate Hastings (New Zealand).

Junior Men

Kinghorn scored his first win and points of the series. His time of 3mins 12.43secs, proved too quick for second place Daniel Turkovic (Australia) with Nicoli Grip Haglev (Norway) in third.

The series standings remain close at the top with Jed Kuegler (New Zealand) moving into the series lead on 42 points, just two clear of Malik Boatwright (New Zealand) on 40 with Kalani Henderson (New Zealand) and Oliver Colthup (Australia) tied on 36.

Junior Women

In her first race of the series Boadle produced a dominant display stopping the clock with a time of 3:34.10, six seconds fastest than Indy Deavoll (New Zealand) and Zuri Acheson (Australia) in second and third.

Deavoll remains in the lead of the series on 80 points, 12 clear of Kiera Vlaar (New Zealand) on 68 with Ursula Summers (New Zealand) 25 points back on 45.
