Jackson Frew and Sian A’Hern win downhill round three of Oceania MTB Continental Series in Canberra

Australian duo Jackson Frew and Sian A’Hern took downhill wins in round three of the 2025 Oceania MTB Continental Series in Canberra, Australia, Sunday 2 March 2025.

In the elite men’s competition 2019 Oceania Champion Frew was too strong taking the win ahead of Jackson Connelly (Australia) and Jed Stanton (Australia).

With three of five rounds complete Lachlan Stevens-McNab (New Zealand) remains in the series lead on 160 ahead of Connelly on 105 with Bernard Kerr in third on 100.

Two time Oceania Champion A’Hern took a dominant victory over Sacha Mills (Australia) and Ashleigh Weinert (Australia).

Jenna Hastings (New Zealand) remains the series leader on 180, having won the opening two rounds, with A’Hern and Kalani Muirhead (New Zealand) both on 90.

In the under 19 categories Rory Meek (New Zealand) and Indy Deavoll (New Zealand) took wins. With two rounds to go Tyler Waite and Deavoll lead the series standings.

The 2025 Oceania MTB Continental Series continues this week with Crankworx Rotorua.
