Oceania Cycling Confederation announces 2018 Oceania Pacific Open Road and Mountain Bike Calendar
The Oceania Cycling Confederation (OCC) is pleased to announce the 2018 Pacific Open Road and Mountain Bike Calendar.
Featuring nine events across six Pacific nations the 2018 Pacific Open Road and Mountain Bike Calendar supports the continued growth of road and mountain bike cycling in the Pacific and creates an important calendar of events for riders from across the Oceania region.
The calendar has been developed in line with “Cycling Pacific“, the OCC Pacific Development Plan, which seeks to promote the development of cycling in the Oceania region and to represent the interests of Member National Federations’ to the UCI.
“The 2018 Pacific Calendar represents a key component of the athlete pathway for cyclists from the developing Pacific Island nations within the Oceania region,” said Oceania Cycling Confederation Strategic and Development Consultant Graham Fredericks.
