Oceania Road Championships will not be held in 2025

The Oceania Cycling Confederation (OCC) regrets to announce that the 2025 Oceania Road Championships will not be held.

Over recent months the OCC has worked with Member Federations and potential hosts to find a date and location for the Championships. Unfortunately, following an extensive process the OCC has been unable to secure a host and has made the difficult decision not to hold the Oceania Road Championships in 2025.

Pursuant to UCI regulations, 2024 Oceania Champions are eligible to wear the jersey until the next Championships are held.

The OCC is currently working on securing a host for the 2026 Oceania Road Championships and will announce details when confirmed.

Oceania Cycling Confederation President and UCI Management Committee Member Tony Mitchell said, “We understand this news will be disappointing to riders, teams and fans and the OCC is committed to hosting the Championships in 2026.”

“The OCC extends its thanks to Member Federations for their support as we have worked through this and for working towards securing a host for 2026.”
