Rebecca Henderson and Toby Stewart win cross country round three of Oceania Mountain Bike Continental Series
Four-time Olympian Rebecca Henderson (Australia) continued her dominance and Toby Stewart (Australia) rocketed himself into series contention at cross-country round three of the 2026 Oceania Mountain Bike Continental Series in Canberra, Australia.
In under 23 competition Jack Ward (Australia) made it three from three and Ruby Taylor (Australia) collected a second win. Oceania Champion Connor Wright (Australia) won the under 19 men’s race and Kayley McMillan (New Zealand) continued her dominance in the under 19 women’s.
The series continues Sunday with round four.

Elite Women
Henderson proved why she is one of the best in the world cruising to the win, covering the five-lap course in 1 hour 18 minutes and 19 seconds. Three and a half minutes clear of Sarah Tucknott (Australia) in second with Amelie Mackay (New Zealand) completing the podium a further minute and a half back.
At the halfway point of the series Henderson sits on 300 points, 90 clear of second placed Mary Gray (New Zealand).

Elite Men
Stewart was too strong covering the six laps in 1:22.52, nearly two minutes clear of multiple Australian national champion Cameron Ivory (Australia) with Japan’s Tatsuumi Soejima a further 50 seconds back.
Anton Cooper (New Zealand) remains in the series lead on 200 points, with Stewart now on 185 just 15 points off the lead at the halfway point.

Under 23 Men
It was a dominant performance from Ward who covered the six laps in just under an hour and 18 minutes. Ward opened a near 30 second lead on the opening lap and never looked back to take his third win from three races by nearly four minutes. Second went to Harry Doye (Australia) with Coen Nicol (New Zealand) in third.
Ward continues to lead the series on 180 points, 80 clear of Fletcher Adams (New Zealand) with Nicol a further 10 points back.

Under 23 Women
Taylor put herself back on the top step with a convincing win. The rising star covered the four-lap course in one house six minutes and one second, 26 seconds clear of Ella Menigoz (Australia) with Milla Phipps (New Zealand) just under a minute behind.
With two wins and a second place in the first three rounds, Taylor sits on 160 points, 60 clear of Phipps in second.

Under 19 Men
After missing the opening two rounds, Oceania Champion Wright picked up where he left off a year ago. It was a dominant performance from the 18-year-old who covered the five-lap course in just over an hour and five minutes. He was over three minutes fastest than James Climo (New Zealand) who claimed the opening two rounds. Oliver Grande (Australia) rounded out the top three.

Under 19 Women
McMillan continued her dominant performance in the series. The Oceania Champion finished nearly six minutes clear of second place Freya Buckmaster (Australia) with Alana Fletcher (Australia) a further two minutes back.
The New Zealander sits at the top of the standings on 60 points, 10 clear of Dulcie Copeland (New Zealand).
